For the past decade, our staff and members have been participating in the Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival. We encourage you to click the link below, and visit the Hope Chest of Buffalo’s Website! This festival is the largest source of financial support for this non-profit group which in short summary provides exercise programs for survivors and patients of Breast Cancer. It is a year round program that includes dragon boat rowing (until the river freezes!), as well as group fitness strength/cardio classes and physical therapy. The Hope Chest, is all about community advocacy, and leaning on each other during difficult times…a mindset that Intrepid Athletics fully embodies and cultivates in our own operational model.

We ask for your support, by sponsoring our team boat as a direct donation to the Hope Chest of Buffalo. This is a tax deductible donation, and the receipt you will receive can be used for those purposes. If you are a corporation, any sponsorship equal to or more than $100 will receive a logo printed on our competition jersey! Please send your logos with a transparent background to [email protected]. Please use this same email if you have any questions you would like to ask in advance!
Checks may be sent to our storefront at 722 Maple Rd. Williamsville NY, 14221. They can be made out to the Hope Chest Buffalo (if you’d tax deduction receipts) or Intrepid Athletics WNY and we will do one large donation on behalf of our total fundraised. Cash and credit card can also be accepted at our storefront with receipts provided.

Our team is 4-peet reigning champs (2019, 2022, 2023 &2024…covid sadly stopped this event for a few years) so while this day is about raising funds for a beloved cause, we also have a title to defend!
